Doesn't the title look like the opening sequence any Apple product you've ever owned? You take it out of the box, it's crisp and brand new. There aren't any scratches and the screen is still free of finger prints. Does anyone remember in How I Met Your Mother when Ted says he's vomit free since 93'? I was just thinking, wouldn't it be nice if my phone was fingerprint free since 03'. I wish. My phone screen looks absolutely disgusting, how do you guys keep it clean? My mom keeps a bunch of microfibre cloths in our house but who really has time to sit there and wipe your phone everyday? I don't know, maybe you do but I'd rather take a nap or watch an episode of Friends. Alright, this whole paragraph has been a jumble of random thoughts but ... this is real, this is me (cue Demi Lavato in Camp Rock, that movie was AWESOME).

So, a little story time. I got my ears pierced at the (not so) tender age of 18, three months shy of my 19th birthday. Does that even happen anymore? I feel like people either get their ears pierced when they're young or when they're hella old. Granted this was my first piercing. I'm not talking about a cartilage or some kind of nose piercing. I'm talking the basic piercing. Growing up, there were two things I would ask for consistently throughout the years; a dog and earrings. The reason my dad gave me was that if I ever wanted to become an astronaut, I shouldn’t have my ears pierced. But looking back at that now, it doesn’t even matter dad!! Let me tell you I have googled this. It ain’t true. So, after 18 years of begging, I finally got these ears poked at. This is such an anticlimactic story but I swear it was a really big moment, I was pretty emotional.

Anyways, I am so excited to get to know everyone. I love to cook. I could watch the Food Network all day if I could. However, a word of caution, don't watch at night when you're hungry. Save yourself from hunger. I look forward to cooking and exploring food with you all! Also, low key obsessed with makeup except I really do not have the space for all the makeup I own. But homegirl makes room for her makeup, trust me. I also want to do some book reviews when I can actually start reading new books this summer (finals are killing me). But, I have so many books that I love and I really want to share that with you guys. That's about it for now, but love you all.

Arrivederci,

Sindy Spencer
